Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Culinary Assistant to support the kitchen, dining room, and related areas under the Culinary Coordinator's guidance. You will help prepare dining spaces, serve residents, and transport food while upholding hygiene, safety, and HIPAA confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school student 14+; preference for graduates/GED; must comply with state regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational and listening skills.
• Calm, friendly demeanor with patience and flexibility.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the dining room for meals and assist with serving residents.
• Maintain sanitation and hygiene, including PPE and hair/hand controls.
• Report unsafe conditions and respond to alarms or emergencies.
• Participate in staff meetings and safety committees.
• Assist with activities and events as requested.
