Institute of Culinary Education seeks a Restaurant & Culinary Management and Culinary Arts Lead Instructor to deliver engaging lectures and hands-on sessions in both in-person and online formats. The role requires guiding students, assessing performance, and maintaining a safe, professional classroom environment.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s or higher in a related field, with seven years of culinary experience (supervisory preferred) and college teaching experience.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Formal culinary arts or pastry arts education.
• Minimum seven years culinary experience with some supervisory responsibilities; fine dining preferred.
• College-level teaching experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and evenings to accommodate ICE class schedules.
• Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of restaurant management, menu development, purchasing, food safety, and related areas.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver clear, organized lectures as per curriculum for in-person and distance education.
• Assess student performance via observation, exams and practicals.
• Maintain a positive learning environment and accurate attendance records.
• Attend meetings and faculty orientation; assist at commencement.
• Lead demonstrations and course activities in line with curriculum.
