Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Irving, TX seeks a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist (CTRT) to deliver client-centered, functional therapy in a home and community neurorehabilitation program. You will design flexible schedules, work with a collaborative team, and help clients achieve real-life goals.

The role offers clinical autonomy, schedule flexibility, and participation in a supportive team environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy.
• CTRT certification (NCTRC) required.
• Maintain relevant state licensure/certification.
• Minimum 2 years therapeutic recreation experience.
• Experience with neurologic or orthopedic patients.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel between assignments.

Responsabilidades

• Performs comprehensive evaluations and sets measurable goals with the rehab team.
• Adjusts treatment to maximize independence and function.
• Plans and coordinates recreation activities and leisure education.
• Interviews patients to assess capabilities and monitors progress.
• Designs community reintegration activities to meet physical and cognitive needs.
• Regularly reassesses treatment effectiveness and progress.
• Communicates needs and progress to the treatment team and family.
• Documents evaluations, treatment, and billing per regulations.
• Adheres to HIPAA, codes of conduct, and compliance programs.
• May collaborate with rehab specialists and provide supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
