Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation seeks a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist to deliver client-centered, functional therapy in our Home & Community Neurorehabilitation program in Dallas, TX. You will design your schedule with clinical autonomy and support from a collaborative team.

You will perform comprehensive evaluations, set goals with the rehab team, adjust treatment plans, plan community reintegration activities, and maintain thorough documentation while ensuring compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy or equivalent.
• Maintains CTRT certification through NCTRC.
• State licensure or certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Performs evaluations and sets measurable goals with the rehab team.
• Adjusts treatment to maximize independence and function.
• Plans and coordinates recreation activities and functional leisure skills.
• Assesses patient capabilities, progress, and adjusts the program as needed.
• Communicates patient progress to the care team and family.
• Maintains documentation per regulatory and company standards.
• Collaborates with medical providers on evaluation, progress, and discharge.
