Job summary

Rehab Without Walls, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist to provide client-centered, functional therapy in the Dallas, TX home and community neurorehabilitation program.

You’ll design schedules with clinical autonomy, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and help clients work toward real-life goals while maintaining HIPAA compliance and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy or equivalent.
• CTRT certification through NCTRC.
• Maintains applicable state license or certification where required.
• Minimum two years therapeutic recreation experience.
• Experience with neurologic or orthopedic conditions.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive evaluations with measurable goals in collaboration with the rehabilitation team.
• Adjusts therapy plans to maximize independence and function.
• Designs and coordinates recreation activities and functional leisure skills.
• Interviews patients to assess capabilities, interests, and barriers.
• Communicates progress to the care team, patient, and family.
• Maintains and submits evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation.
