Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Dallas, TX seeks a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist to deliver client-centered, functional therapy in a home and community neurorehabilitation setting. You design schedules with clinical autonomy and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Therapeutic Recreation, CTRT certification, and 2+ years of experience in neuro/orthopedic rehab, with strong communication and independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy or equivalent.
• Maintains CTRT certification through NCTRC.
• Maintains license/certification as required by the state where CTRS practices.
• Minimum of two years therapeutic therapy experience and program design.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and set measurable goals with the rehabilitation team.
• Adjust treatment to maximize independence and function.
• Plan and coordinate recreation activities and functional leisure skills.
• Interview patient to assess capabilities/interests/barriers and monitor progress.
