Job summary

KORE1, a nationwide staffing and recruiting solutions provider, has an immediate opening for Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – Data-as-a-Product / API Platform. Remote currently; Los Angeles-area candidates strongly preferred as the team moves toward regular in-person collaboration.

You will own technology strategy across payer connectivity, API infrastructure, and a scalable data foundation, delivering trusted data and practical AI capabilities while building an engineering organization that

Qualifications

8+ years of technical leadership experience in startup environments.
CTO/VP Engineering or senior architect in API-first/data infrastructure environments.
Hands-on depth with API platforms and data pipelines.
Experience building data/APIs delivered to customers, not only internal data initiatives.
Familiarity with regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

Define platform strategy for payer connectivity and API platform.
Lead data foundation and AI enablement to support products.
Build and scale engineering organization, set operating rhythms and culture.
Ensure reliability, security and regulatory compliance across systems.
Partner with Product, Finance, Legal, Revenue and executives on roadmap and tradeoffs.
