Job summary

Codebridge is seeking a CTO to guide technology strategy, architecture, and AI integration. You will lead high-impact client discussions and set engineering standards while driving delivery and quality across projects.

You will influence pre-sales, architecture reviews, and solution design, ensuring maintainable systems and robust risk management. Collaboration with founders and teams is essential, with flexible remote options.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in commercial software development, several of them in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead / Architect / Engineering Manager / CTO).
• Strong software architecture background — balance maintainability, flexibility, testability, and time to market with modern patterns.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Python, and .NET across projects.
• Experience with cloud and SaaS/PaaS platforms (AWS, Azure).
• High English proficiency or higher.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technology strategy and architectural direction across projects.
• Lead the technical side of client conversations and the sales process — talking solutions with the client's technical leaders, architecture reviews, solution design, pre-sales.
• Set and uphold the engineering bar — code quality, testing, architecture, and technical process — and own delivery, so projects ship on time and stay maintainable.
• Own how we use AI in development — the tools, standards, and practices for building with it well.
• Be the main point of technical escalation across projects.
• Evaluate and introduce technologies, tools, and practices that improve quality and speed.
• Own technical risk: architecture, scalability, security, and technical debt.
• Be the technical authority inside the team — set the example and raise the level of the engineers around you.
