The Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC is seeking board-eligible or board-certified intensivists to join our faculty in the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) at UPMC Presbyterian. Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification or eligibility in critical care medicine.
• Experience in cardiothoracic critical care and multidisciplinary teams encouraged.
• Commitment to education, patient-centered care, and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide attending-level critical care for high-acuity cardiothoracic patients in CTICU.
• Lead multidisciplinary rounds, develop diagnostic and therapeutic plans, and supervise learners.
• Engage in quality improvement, documentation, and academic scholarship; potential cross-site care.
