UPMC Presbyterian's Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) seeks a BE/BC Critical Care Intensivist to join the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and UPMC. This faculty role emphasizes high-acuity patient care, education, and scholarly activity.

The successful candidate will provide attending-level ICU care for cardiothoracic patients, lead rounds, and collaborate with cardiac surgeons, cardiology, and other specialists.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required; board-certified/board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Provide attending-level critical care in the CTICU at UPMC Presbyterian.
• Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and develop evidence-based plans.
• Supervise and teach fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Maintain timely documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Support an inclusive learning and clinical environment.
