Job summary

Charlton County Schools seeks a CTAE Director to coordinate and oversee Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education programs and pathways. You will support career readiness initiatives, work-based learning opportunities, and community partnerships to align with district goals and state requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with counselors, CTSOs, and local industry partners to promote career exploration and credentials while ensuring program compliance and continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Valid Georgia teaching or leadership certificate is required.
• Successful experience in education, CTAE, career readiness, or a related field.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups and establish positive working relationships.
• Ability to organize programs, manage deadlines, and use data to support program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee CTAE programs, pathways, and courses to align with standards and district goals.
• Develop and improve CTAE pathways based on student interests and workforce needs.
• Coordinate CTAE reporting, documentation, data collection, and compliance.
• Assist with CTAE budgets, Perkins funding, and other grants.
• Support CTAE teachers and administrators with resources and instructional requirements.
• Promote CTSOs and related student leadership and competitive activities.
• Develop partnerships with local businesses, colleges, and community organizations.
• Coordinate work-based learning opportunities (internships, job shadowing, apprenticeships, mentorships).
• Work with counselors to promote career exploration, credentials, dual enrollment, and postsecondary readiness.
• Coordinate career fairs and other career-readiness activities.
• Monitor enrollment, pathway completion, credentials, and program data for improvement.
