Job summary

Jones County Schools seeks a CTAE Director to lead the College and Career Academy at Jones County High School. You will align CTAE programs with workforce needs, supervise budget resources, and cultivate partnerships with postsecondary institutions, business, and government agencies.

This role reports to the Assistant Superintendent and supports career pathways for students. Effective November 2, 2026, the position offers an exempt status with a starting salary range of $112,000 to $114,000,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of leadership experience in education, business, management, or workforce development.
• Possess or be eligible for Georgia Teaching Certification.
• Possess or be eligible for Tier I Leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in secondary education (grades 6–12) preferred.
• Knowledge of CTAE and workforce development programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the College and Career Academy and CTAE programs.
• Develop annual operating plans and program goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Lead continuous improvement using student performance, program, and workforce data.
• Build effective teams and a positive organizational culture; ensure collaboration.
• Oversee budgets, grants, expenditures, and financial resources in line with plans.
