Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Emergency Hospital seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging with minimal supervision, delivering compassionate, accurate diagnostics in a busy ER environment.

You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensure compliance with policies and CLIA/COLA where applicable, document results, and coordinate with physicians, nurses and staff to meet patient needs. Some travel to other facility locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred.
• ARRT certification in radiography required; CT certification preferred.
• ARRT CT certification must be obtained within specified timelines in some markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff in meeting patient needs.
• Operate and maintain X-Ray,CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment.
• Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies and laws; notify physician on duty of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
