Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology (required)
• Associate’s degree in Radiology preferred
• ARRT registration in radiography required
• ARRT CT registration preferred (CT cert required in some markets)
• Current BLS certification required
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred
• 1+ years CT experience preferred
• 1+ years ER experience preferred
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and PACS
• English fluency in written and spoken form

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain X-ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS equipment.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs, and records (paper and electronic).
• Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing per policies and CLIA/COLA regulations.
• Maintain reagents and consumables for quality testing.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality control on imaging equipment.
• Retain analytic activity records for two years.
• Document quality assessment activities for supervisory review.
• Travel to facility locations as required.
