Emerus is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a technically proficient level across its hospital network. You will provide supportive patient care and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and staff to meet patient imaging needs.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification, CT certification (where applicable), and BLS; 2+ years radiology experience and CT exposure are preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology is required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology is preferred.
• Certified as an medical radiologic technologist as required by the practicing state.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT in radiography is required.
• ARRT CT certification is preferred, with market-specific exceptions.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience is preferred.
• 1+ years CT experience is preferred.
• 1+ years ER experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, PACS, and related hardware/software.
• Fluency in English, written and oral communication, is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies and notify physician on duty of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Perform Quality Control and Proficiency Testing as established by the facility.
