Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform CT and X-Ray imaging at a technical level without constant supervision. You will support physicians, nurses and staff, operate PACS and imaging equipment, and ensure timely result communication.

Must have AMA-approved Radiology program completion and ARRT credentials; CT certification and BLS are required. Travel to facilities as needed and fluency in English are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required.
• Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred.
• Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing.
• Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required.
• ARRT in CT preferred, CT certification required (Las Vegas Market) or within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market).
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred.
• 1+ years of CT experience, preferred.
• 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred.
• Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS.
• Fluency in English, written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging department equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams in accordance with policies, regulations and laws; notify physician on duty of results.
• Maintain documentation, logs, charts and records in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
