Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging in line with department standards. You will position patients, start IVs, ensure high-quality images, and provide post-procedure instructions. The role emphasizes radiation safety and aseptic technique in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 6:30pm–7:00am, with on-call requirements and the potential for additional CT-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered CT Technician must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional CT training.
• On Call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Release patient with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
