Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kansas, is seeking a CT Technologist who performs routine and specialized CT imaging in accordance with professional and departmental standards to provide high-quality images for physicians.

You will position patients, start IVs for contrast, assess image quality, and maintain aseptic techniques while following radiation safety guidelines; on-call availability is required, and we offer comprehensive benefits and career development as part of HCA

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA accredited radiology program or degree in Radiology Technology.
• CT Technologist must obtain ARRT CT within 12 months of start date.
• ARRT Radiographer certification within 12 months of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years CT experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On-Call required and ability to report to facility within 30 minutes of call back.

Responsibilities

• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
