Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging, ensuring high-quality images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. The role emphasizes compassionate patient care and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have AMA program or Radiology Technology degree, CT/ARRT certifications within 1 year, and BCLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA-accredited program or hold a Radiology Technology degree.
• ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• ARRT Radiographer registration within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of CT scanning experience preferred with on-call readiness.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Schedule

Friday-Sunday, 6:30pm-7:00am.

What you will do in this role

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
