Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ARRT-CT Certification required.
• ARRT-R Certification required.
• Associate Degree in radiologic sciences or related field.

Responsabilités

What you will do in this role:

• You willdemonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provideappropriate carefor patient populations served in the department.

• You willdemonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span andpossess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirementsrelativeto his/her age-specific needs.

• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.
• CT technologists- The CT technologist is responsible for performing a variety of complex specialized technical tasks utilizing radiation to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities. Has working knowledge of the equipment used and operates equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner. Has knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applies ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time
• Diagnostic X-ray Technologists - Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Has working knowledge of the equipment used and operates equipment to produce quality images in the most efficient and safe manner. Has knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and applies ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) concepts to every patient, every time

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• Associate Degree
