Research Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. You will contribute to high-quality CT images used for diagnosis and treatment, while supporting a collaborative team committed to patient care.

The role includes scheduling at Brookside and Research Main Campus, CT and X-ray duties, and on-call requirements. Aiming for qualified radiology education and ARRT/AMA credentials with safety-focused practice.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered CT Technologist (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• BCLS (or ACLS) required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of CT experience preferred with CT training.
• On-call availability within 30 minutes of call back.

Responsabilidades

• Initiate IVs for contrast injection when needed.
• Assess and adjust imaging for optimal quality.
• Provide post-procedure instructions to patients.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Schedule:Thursday and Friday 12 hour day shifts at Brookside campus for CT and X-ray. Saturday 12 hour day shift at Research Main Campus in CT

What you will do in this role:

• You will compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
• You will start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
• You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
• You will release customer with proper post procedure instructions.
• You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
• You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What qualifications you will need:

• Prefer Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or Prefer degree in Radiology Technology.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.
