Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role includes imaging across neonatal to geriatric patients and advanced cardiac/vascular CT capabilities.

The position runs Friday through Sunday from 7 pm to 7 am with no on-call requirement. A sign-on bonus is available and ARRT CT credentials are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of CT experience required.
• ARRT Registered CT and CT Advanced certification upon hire.
• BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across age groups and perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac/Vascular).

AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
