Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. This night-shift position runs Friday through Sunday, 7 pm to 7 am, with no on-call requirements and a sign-on bonus.

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic CT examinations under the Radiologist’s supervision and provides care for neonatal through geriatric patients. You will demonstrate expertise in cross-sectional anatomy, advanced cardiac and vascular imaging, and deliver high-quality images while

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program.
• Minimum 1 year CT experience.
• ARRT CT certification required upon hire.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatric).
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and cross-sectional anatomy/physiology.
• Deliver complex technical care to meet identified patient needs.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of CT experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT) Upon Hire Required and
• CT - Computed Tomography Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
