Job summary

A healthcare provider located in Cartersville, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and provide patient care for all age groups. The ideal candidate should have ARRT certification in Computed Tomography and at least one year of CT experience. This is a weekend position with hours from Friday to Sunday. Qualifications

• 1 year of CT experience required.
• ARRT certification in CT upon hire is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support certification upon hire is required.

Overview

Hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 am - 7:30 pm

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross‑sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic computer‑tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups, including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. They demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (cardiac and vascular) and are competent and proficient with cross‑sectional anatomy and physiology, providing complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved radiologic technology program or JRCERT‑accredited hospital‑based training program (Required)

Work Experience

• 1 year of CT experience (Required)

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology upon hire Required
• CT – Computed Tomography Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT) upon hire Required
• BCLS – Basic Life Support upon hire Required
