Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams and provide patient care across age groups in a weekend night schedule. You will operate CT equipment under radiologist supervision and ensure adherence to safety standards.

Requirements include ARRT certification, AMA/JRCERT education, BLS, and eligibility for state licensure. The role includes shift differential and a sign-on bonus as noted on the posting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Compute tomography examinations and operate CT equipment under the radiologist supervision.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Adhere to prescribed standards and maintain safety protocols during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

This position is Weekend Nights. There is an applicable shift differential for this position.

Responsible For

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

Minimum Experience Required

Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

Additional Qualifications

BLS certified.

PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
