Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under radiologist supervision. You will provide patient-centered care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients in a busy Augusta, GA setting.

Applicants should complete AMA/JRCERT-approved radiologic training, hold ARRT and BCLS certifications, and have at least 6 months of radiologic technologist experience. Weekend hours are included with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification required upon hire and BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide care to patients across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

Overview

Saturday and Sunday 9 am - 7 pm, Monday and Tuesday 12:30 pm - 9 pm. No call required. Sign on bonus available.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialise in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
