Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams and provide compassionate patient care across all ages. You will work under the Radiologist’s supervision, following safety and quality standards.

The role requires ARRT and BCLS on hire, with a sign-on bonus offered and a 7 nights on/7 nights off schedule. Experience in radiologic technology is preferred, with an AMA or JRCERT accredited credential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.
• ARRT certification required upon hire; BCLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal to geriatric.
• Adhere to prescribed standards and safety protocols during imaging procedures.

Overview

This position is 7 nights on, 7 nights off. Sign-on bonus available.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred
