Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA is seeking a CT Technologist Level II to perform diagnostic CT examinations under Radiologist supervision. The role includes cardiac and vascular imaging and patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Required are an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT CT certification, and 1 year CT experience; BLS is required. A sign-on bonus is available, with comprehensive Piedmont benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 1 year of CT experience.
• Registered by ARRT with CT certification; advanced CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under direct supervision of Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• Demonstrate competency in advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular).
• Deliver high-quality imaging with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:1 year of CT experience.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) (CT). Advanced certification by ARRT in Computed Tomography (CT).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified.
