Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord, NC is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in accordance with departmental protocols, operating CT scanners and related equipment.

You will verify orders with radiologists, prepare patients, obtain medical histories, perform scans, and ensure radiation safety while documenting results.

This role requires ARRT or NMTCB CT registry within one year of hire and BLS; includes rotating shifts, on-call, and hospital-wide teamwork.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocols.
• Verify orders with Radiologist and address discrepancies.
• Prepare patients and document medical history.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and follow radiation safety standards.
• Rotate shifts including on-call, holidays and weekends.
