Job summary

Good Samaritan Hospital, part of Intermountain Health, in Lafayette, Colorado, seeks a CT Technologist for our weekend program with a 36-hour weekly schedule. The role requires ARRT CT registration and BLS, with 1–2 years CT experience preferred.

You will operate CT equipment, ensure high-quality images, and follow safety protocols while engaging with patients and staff. You will stay current with advancements in CT technology and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration required at hire.
• BLS certification within 60 days, Required.
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required.
• IV competency within 90 days, Required.
• Colorado caregivers: Fluoroscopy certification preferred.
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions.
• Operate CT equipment and related systems to produce quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and exam preparation.
• Perform exams per department protocol and ensure image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns; coordinate care with others.
