Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking CT Technologists to join our weekend program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. The role involves maintaining ARRT CT competency, operating CT equipment, ensuring accurate patient identification, and performing exams per protocol.

Minimum qualifications include ARRT CT registration and BLS within 60 days. 3+ years of CT experience is preferred for Level II, with fluoroscopy certification considered a plus.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT registration required upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Licensure in state of practice as applicable, upon hire.
• 1-2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred for Level I.
• 3+ years CT Technologist experience preferred for Level II.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in all clinical and technical functions of the job.
• Understand and operate CT equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams.
• Perform exams per department protocol.
• Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
• Complete studies within time limitations without compromising care.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers.
• Stay updated with CT technology and participate in continuing education.
• Assist and instruct students and other technologists in protocols and equipment.
