Qualifications

• ARRT (R) CT certification required upon hire
• BLS within 60 days required
• State licensure as applicable upon hire
• IV competency within 90 days required
• Fluoroscopy certification preferred for Colorado caregivers
• 1–2 years CT experience in a hospital setting preferred
• Level II requires 3+ years CT experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT competency in clinical and technical functions
• Operate CT equipment and information systems to produce quality images
• Ensure proper patient identification and prep for exams
• Perform exams per department protocol
• Review images for quality and accuracy
• Maintain radiation safety and a safe environment
• Complete studies within time expectations without compromising care
• Provide patient education and comfort
• Coordinate patient care and communicate with other providers
• Stay updated with CT advancements through continuing education
• Instruct students and other radiology staff in protocols and equipment
