Job summary

Atrium Health Cabarrus is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT imaging procedures following departmental protocols. The role requires operating CT scanners, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality image standards.

The position includes night shifts Monday-Thursday from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. ARRT certification in Radiology and BLS are required, and MET performance expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Verifies orders and ensures proper patient identification before performing exams.
• Prepares patients and explains procedures prior to CT imaging.
• Obtains complete clinical history from EMR and documents as required.
• Operates CT scanners and related equipment with proficiency; assists Radiologist as needed.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and keeps equipment and area clean and organized.
