Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scanning, verify orders, prepare patients, and assist Radiologists. You will ensure patient identification, explain procedures, and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities include IV contrast administration, image quality evaluation, handling emergencies, and operating radiology computer systems; shifts include weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Exams and orders verification with Radiologist sign-off.
• Identify and assist patients with procedure explanations and prep.
• Document medical history and correlate results with tests.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain imaging quality and safety standards.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, weekends.
