Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure AIDET communication, and maintain ALARA exposure levels while upholding safety and infection control standards.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 1 year radiology experience, ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at low radiation dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment; report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to reduce patient anxiety using AIDET; ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Position patients correctly, apply markers and shielding; administer contrast per protocol when applicable.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability and repeat if needed; finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Document accurately and support department workflow; assist with radiology operations as needed.
