Job summary

You will perform CT procedures, ensure ALARA principles, and document results in RIS/PACS while supporting departmental operations and patient comfort.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT; BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain quality.
• Maintain infection control and restock as needed; report equipment issues promptly.
• Verify patient identity and orders; obtain clinical history before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS; manage transfers and prior exams as needed.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as required.
