Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high‑quality imaging and a positive patient experience. You will perform CT exams, ensure safety using ALARA, and complete documentation in RIS/PACS with attention to detail.

Required are a High School diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT, and BLS. A supportive team offers growth opportunities and dedicated education support.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year Radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT, BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; identify and report equipment issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications; verify orders and two unique patient identifiers before any exam.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address questions and reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety; provide age-appropriate care throughout the visit.
• Perform exams and administer contrast per protocol, using venipuncture and sterile technique when applicable.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; repeat/correct as needed and release patients appropriately.
• Complete accurate, timely documentation and ensure studies are correctly finalized in RIS/PACS.
