Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and support a positive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, follow ALARA principles, and ensure safety and infection control across shifts.

Required qualifications include a radiologic technology program, ARRT credentials (R and CT) and BLS, with at least 1 year in Radiology. Sign-on and relocation incentives may be available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA principles.
• Maintain infection control and equipment cleanliness.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and ensure patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol with proper venipuncture technique.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete documentation in RIS/PACS.
