Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, GA seeks a CT Technologist to provide high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT exams, maintain radiation safety, and collaborate within Radiology to ensure efficient workflow.

The role requires ARRT-R, ARRT-CT, BLS, and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, with at least 1 year of radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in Radiology preferred.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography).
• Certifications: ARRT-CT.
• Certifications: BLS – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture diagnostic-quality images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently while maintaining ALARA and patient safety.
• Maintain infection control and clean/ disinfect rooms and equipment.
• Verify orders, obtain history, and use two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients, reduce anxiety using AIDET.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol and use sterile technique.
• Position patients, apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and complete finalization in RIS/PACS.
