Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures with independence, ensuring high-quality results.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, an associate degree, and strict adherence to safety standards and HIPAA compliance.

A $30,000 sign-on bonus applies with a 3-year commitment; HR Services contact provided for accommodations and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography (R) or NMTCB registered (CNMT) is required at time of hire.
• Preferred CT Technologist experience.
• Within 18 months of hire or transfer, CT certification or NMTCB CT certification must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures independently; analyzes results and resolves image quality issues.
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders; educates patient regarding procedures and equipment.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice; monitors patient condition.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; performs QC and reports issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
