Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking qualified radiologic technologists to perform imaging procedures with independence and clinical judgment. The role requires ability to analyze images, communicate with patients, and coordinate with physicians.

Candidates must have ARRT registration in radiography or NMTCB CNMT, CT certification preferred, and comply with required background checks and HIPAA policies. Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 is available with a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Associate’s degree (or equivalent) required.
• ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography or NMTCB registered (CNMT) required at time of hire.
• CT certification or NMTCB CT certification preferred; maintain certifications.
• CPR certification per organization policy and state mandates.
• Background clearances and FBI fingerprinting as required by employment.
• Compliance with HIPAA and company privacy policies.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and perform imaging procedures independently.
• Analyze results and identify image quality issues.
• Resolve image quality issues, including repositioning and repeating procedures.
• Enter, transmit and report scan results; document patient history and orders.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment and exams.
• Prepare and administer contrast media/medications within scope; monitor patient condition.
