Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform radiographic imaging procedures with minimal supervision, exercising independent judgment. The role includes patient positioning, image analysis, and reporting results.

The position requires ARRT/RN or NMTCB CT certification, an Associate's degree or equivalent, and preferred CT experience. Strong emphasis on safety, patient education, and quality control in a hospital setting remains essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography (R) or NMTCB registered (CNMT) required at time of hire.
• Preferred CT Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and perform imaging independently with judgment and initiative.
• Review history and orders; educate patient about procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media as directed; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment; set exposure factors; maintain safety standards and QC procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
