Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures with independence and professional judgment. You will position patients, analyze results, and report scan outcomes while adhering to safety standards and quality control procedures.

The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic technology and ARRT RT or NMTCB CNMT certification, with CT technologist experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography or NMTCB registered (CNMT) is required at time of hire.
• Prior CT technologist experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and perform imaging procedures independently with quality control.
• Review patient history and orders to inform imaging strategy.
• Administer contrast media when ordered and monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, and ensure safety standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and report malfunctions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
