Job summary

Allegheny Health Network seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform prescribed radiographic imaging procedures with minimal supervision and independent judgment. The role includes patient education, contrast administration, safety compliance, and equipment QC.

Preferred CT technologist experience with ARRT and NMTCB certifications; CPR and background clearances required. Sign-on bonus available for a 3-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• ARRT Registered (RT) in radiography required at time of hire.
• NMTCB registered (CNMT) certification required at time of hire.
• CT certification preferred or required as per role scope.

Responsibilities

• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures independently.
• Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope.
• Selects exposure factors and imaging parameters; implements safety and QC procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports issues.
