Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT Radiology certification required.
• NMTCB Nuclear Medicine certification and ARRT CT registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and identify patients prior to exam.
• Refer and confirm orders with Radiologist before proceeding.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures; document appropriately.
• Review patient history and EMR for pertinent data.
• Operate CT equipment and perform scans per protocol.
• Maintain radiation safety and report equipment malfunctions.
