Job summary

Piedmont McDuffie Hospital in Thomson, GA, seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision and provide patient care across all age groups.

The ideal candidate should have completed an AMA/JRCERT accredited radiologic program, with ARRT and BCLS certifications on hire, and 6 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited program
• 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred
• ARRT registration upon hire required
• BCLS certification upon hire required

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatric) and ensure safety and comfort during procedures.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
