Job summary

Piedmont McDuffie Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist, delivering patient care for all ages.

Candidates should have AMA/JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology training, ARRT and BCLS certifications, and at least 6 months of experience; hospital setting preferred. These roles emphasize safety, image quality, and teamwork in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited hospital-based training.
  • 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
  • ARRT certification required upon hire.
  • BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations under direct supervision of the Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Ensure adherence to prescribed standards and safety protocols.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
