Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide patient care across all ages, following prescribed standards and ensuring high-quality imaging.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or a JRCERT accredited program, ARRT registration, BCLS, and a preference for 6 months of radiologic technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.
• Follow prescribed standards and ensure safety and image quality.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
