Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, ensuring adherence to prescribed standards, and delivering patient care across neonatal to geriatric groups. The role supports imaging protocols and quality standards in a clinical setting.

Candidates should have an AMA/JRCERT-accredited radiologic program, ARRT certification, and BCLS, with preferred prior radiology tech experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Work Experience: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and, BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.

Responsibilities

• Compute tomography examinations under supervision by the Radiologist to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
