Atrium Health Kings Mountain is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform procedures in accordance with department protocols and standards. You will operate CT scanners and related equipment with high proficiency, including post-processing, IV contrast injectors, and patient monitoring tools.

The role requires ARRT/NMTCB credentials with CT registry within one year, BLS, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an institution accredited by ARRT or NMTCB in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• ARRT radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Verify orders with radiologist before performing exam.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and explain procedures.
• Review patient history and EMR data for correlation with exam.
• Perform CT scanning from start to finish and ensure proper documentation.
• Administer IV contrast per departmental protocol and record type.
• Evaluate image quality and consult radiologist when needed.
• Provide basic patient care and respond to emergencies as required.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast administration.
• Keep work area clean, stocked and assist other staff as needed.
